ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE POSSIBLE VISITS THAT MAY TAKE PLACE IN OUR COUNTRY WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE 1700TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE COUNCIL OF IZNIK

In the article titled “Visits that may take place in our country within the scope of the 1700th Anniversary of the Council of Iznik” sent to our Association by the Department of European Union and Foreign Relations of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey,

It has been reported that a visit to our country is planned by Pope Francis, the leader of the Vatican, and that within the scope of the said visit, Christian groups and clergy from abroad may organize special visits to our country throughout the year, and that there may be requests to visit historical and cultural places, especially Iznik, and to perform religious services in various places, and in this direction, especially tour operators organizing such trips should be informed about the need to make their applications for the necessary permits in a timely and proper manner.
