HAPPY 103RD ANNIVERSARY OF THE LIBERATION OF IZMIR

September 9th is a historic turning point, a day when our nation's struggle for independence was crowned with victory, and Izmir was reborn with its liberation.

I commemorate with mercy all our martyrs who gave their lives for our homeland, especially Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the architect of this great victory, and our veterans with gratitude. I proudly and wholeheartedly celebrate the 103rd anniversary of September 9th.
