August 30 is the day when our nation declared to the world that it would never bow to slavery. This victory, achieved under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, laid the foundations of the Republic of Turkey and changed the destiny of our nation.
On this meaningful day, I remember with gratitude all our martyrs, especially the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms, and I celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the August 30 Victory with my deepest feelings.
