On the 107th anniversary of May 19, 1919, the day Turkish nation’s struggle for independence and the future began, I commemorate with gratitude, respect, and admiration the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, our beloved martyrs, and our heroic veterans.
