IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ON DISRUPTIONS AT GREEK BORDER CROSSINGS

Dear Members,

Due to recent developments at border crossings and customs points, long waiting times are occurring for road travel to Greece.

In particular, the actions taken by farmers in Greece and the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) implemented by the European Union are slowing down transit processes and causing disruptions to travel plans.

In this context, it is important for our travel agencies planning tours, package tours, and travel to Greece to take into account potential delays at border and customs crossings when shaping their programs, informing guests accordingly, and taking necessary precautions in their operational planning.

We would like to emphasize the need for maximum attention to this matter to prevent any inconvenience to our members and their guests.

Sincerely,

Association of Turkish Travel Agencies
