TÜRSAB'S 26TH ORDINARY GENERAL ASSEMBLY HAS BEEN CONCLUDED

Dear Members,

TÜRSAB's 26th Ordinary General Assembly has been concluded with elections held at the Istanbul WOW Hotel Convention Center on November 22–23, 2025. The general assembly, which saw a large turnout, saw four presidential candidates compete, with a total of 4,428 travel agency representatives voting.

According to preliminary results, incumbent President Firuz Bağlıkaya was re-elected as President of the TÜRSAB Board of Directors, receiving 3,053 of the 4,331 valid votes cast. Among the other candidates, Aylin Özsavaş received 1,184 votes, Muhammet Akkaya 38, and Eyüp Kartal 19. Ninety-seven votes were invalid.

Following the announcement of the election results, TÜRSAB President Firuz Bağlıkaya addressed the General Assembly members, thanking all participants and saying:

“We are on the threshold of a new era, and with your support, we are stronger than ever. The General Assembly is a test in which we are accountable to our members; what truly matters is the grade you give us. I am grateful that you have deemed me worthy of this position once again. We will work with all our might to live up to this great responsibility. Strengthening the unity and solidarity of our Association will be our priority. May TÜRSAB prosper, and may our path be clear.”

As TÜRSAB, we thank all our members who expressed their democratic will at the ballot box. We hope that the results of our General Assembly will be beneficial to our sector, our members, and our country.
