ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT THE MATTERS THAT TOURIST GUIDES NEED TO BE CONSIDERED WHILE CARRYING OUT THEIR PROFESSIONS

Dear Members,

Turkish Tourist Guides Association (TUREB) has sent a letter to our Association regarding the issues that tourist guides should pay attention to while carrying out their profession. In summary, the letter states the following:

• The primary language(s) listed on the tourist guide's work card should be used to provide guiding services.
• Turkish guiding services can only be provided to "Turkish-speaking groups" or "local groups".
• A "guiding service contract" must be made before the tour.
• Tourist guides are required to visibly carry their work cards.
